“For his “Motion & Illusion“ exhibition, Tripl has reconsidered his optical illusionist work, because in contrast to the fact that the majority of his paintings are on trains and that their movement is incorporated into his works of art in one way or another, here he is on a static surface: walls. When dealing with this problem, he not only relied on the diverse possibilities of new media, but also redis- covered old things that deal with optical illusions. As a result, he has expanded his artistic scope once again and so his mind, and not just his works of art, remains in motion.”
