THE WHOLETRAIN METRO

THE WHOLETRAIN METRO is a publication strictly dedicated to wholetrains executed in Moscow and Sankt Petersburg which first was released in Russian in 2016. Luckily the publishers decided to bring out an English version as well in a limited edition of 96 copies only.

The hardcover consists of cooperative and one man wholetrains portrayed in chronological order starting in June 2003. Each action has a small chapter opening with a text on the creation and story behind the various successful missions giving insight into these extremely hard to paint subway systems.

“At first it’s a bit scary and hard to imagine that it happened and you’re going to get away with it, that it’s possible to do a metro wholetrain in our capital city without any consequences. And only after several days you manage to acknowledge that it’s over, you won, and your wholetrain is just another ‘crime without a punishment’ in the archives of the Moskva metro.”

The reader gets exact information on the place of execution, line, participants and model as well as accompanying action, tunnel, posing, collage and most of the time traffic shots of the results.

NOTE: The books travelled by post for almost two months and, unfortunately, all of them have been slightly damaged at the cover. Some at the corner, others at the spine. The pages inside are generally unaffected.
