Л1 БДД (L1 BDD) – 2005–2024

The Moscow metro is known to be one of the hardest to paint subway systems of the world. Being able to leave your mark on underground cars of the Russian capital is a special reward only a few writers did achieve in the past. Л1 БДД (L1 BDD) is a 2025 publication which exclusively has one of the city’s metro depots in focus, the Bulvar Dmitriya Donskogo station.

The 92-paged softcover documents a twenty year span from 2005 to 2024 in which mainly locals and also a few international writers accomplished the mission to paint the spot – 52 writers from 25 crews. Chronological chapters include the exact date and participants of each successful attempt while action, tunnel, atmosphere and daytime traffic shots of panels and wholecars accompany the content.
