Since the 2000s an evolution from graffiti writing to abstract painting can be traced especially in Eastern European countries as for example the Graffolution compendium points out. With Hyper Neue a new publication on this genre by a loose collective of six Czech artists was published in October 2024. The 160-paged book features collaborative works from Cimrman, Chaozzline, Harri Saterri, Kryštof Netolický, Mia2, Skupina TOTO and T.G. from the city of Brno.

The shown works are non-commissioned paintings in public space which have been produced in between 2021 and 2024. Although tools like paint, brushes, markers, correction pens and spray cans have been used, no letter forms can be made out. Here and there figurative elements like faces can be found in the mostly monumental abstract works which have not been signed. The book consists of panoramic shots, close-ups as well as drawings and drafts from the members of the collective. The date and location of production is added to each photo.
