Nachtschicht Magazin Berlin #3

Nachtschicht (night shift) Magazin was a Berlin focused photo only magazine which got first published in 2009. Right from the start it did broadcast tons of photos on illegal graffiti from the streets of the German capital. Trains were neither part of the content nor hall of fame pieces. The fourth and final issue came out in 2013 and closed the series that was completely self financed and did not include any advertisement pages at all.

All photos have been taken by one photographer who continued his work as publisher under the label of ‘Mikrokosmos‘ with mainly Berlin spotlighting publications. Since other magazines of that era did more focus on activities on S-Bahn and U-Bahn trains, nowadays the Nachtschicht volumes are a great time capsule of the years they cover. Like an annual report each 60-paged issue shows the city’s variety of styles, writers and crews. We did get our hands of the last remaining copies and offer them half priced for you.
