SIGHTSEEING BERLIN – Simon Ostaschenko

SIGHTSEEING BERLIN is 184-paged publication by painter and mixed-media artist Simon Ostaschenko. The book features several places which have been revisited to document their status after being repainted by the same writers over and over again. But on his strolls through Berlin Ostaschenko did also document a variety of places and sites like backyards, bridges, trucks, train lines, or street spots on which a circle of writers left their marks in between 2012 and 2023.

Unlike the titles suggests his walks rarely lead him along typical Berlin attractions – they were rather personal sights he looked up regularly over a decade. The photographic tour is accompanied by seven personal stories by him and a poem by Kevin Gray. SIGHTSEING BERLIN is limited to 200 copies and was released in 2024. We got our hands on some of the last remaining copies for you. Each copy is individually stamped and hand numbered by the editor.
