N.O.Madski – Graffiti Maalen Vol.2

Graffiti Maalen is a new zine series by Hamburg based stylewriting leader NOMAD a.k.a. N.O.Madski. Other than in his previous publications he teamed with several other writers and artists to compile the content of the 52-paged publication. It consists of pieces, canvas close-ups, sketches, scribbles, abstract paintings, digital art, drawings, collages and outlines which often leave letter forms far behind but anyway create a coherent and harmonic composition on each spread.

“Graffiti Maalen is a magazine project to focus on collaborative works inside the graffiti writing culture. The project’s main approach is to leave the classical paths and techniques of graffiti writing behind and investigate the relations between graffiti, writing and fine arts. The focus of the magazine is not on the representation of ego or one’s own work, but rather on the interplay between the various artists to create something new and unexpected. In addition to works using the classic media of the graffiti culture, the collection includes works on paper, paintings, and digital collages.”

In Graffiti Maalen Vol.2 you find works mainly by N.O.Madski, D2, Luca Hien, GYZOS, DEER, and RAVER.
