Cheryl Dunn – Rent Party

Cheryl Dunn is a New York City based documentary filmmaker and photographer. Since the late 80’s she has spent a large part of her career documenting city streets and the people who strive to leave their mark there: graffiti writers, artists, skaters, boxers, bikers, protesters, and assorted characters.

In Rent Party we get insight into her favourite place to shot – the streets of New York City. The black and white photographs capture portraits of everyday people, bikers, skaters and street scenes in a rough aesthetic on raw matte paper. The 44-paged staple bound risograph printed zine also features photos with AMAZE, Barry McGee, Dave Schubert aka EVADE, EARSNOT, ESPO, GANE, JA, JIM JOE, Margaret Kilgallen aka Matokie Slaughter, MISS17, NECKFACE, PEAK, REVS, SEN4, TEXAS, VE and many more.
