Der Tumblr “Der Edelstein” von Emmett E. hat sich über die letzten Jahre einen guten Ruf in der Graffiti-Szene erarbeitet.

Mit dem ersten gedruckten Edelstein-Magazin schlägt der Fotograf nun eine neue Richtung ein. In jeder Ausgabe soll durch eine gezielte Fotoauswahl ein spezifisches Themenfeld bespielt werden. Erstes Thema ist die Wand als Medium für Graffiti. Außerdem deren Wandlungsfähigkeit und Unvorhersehbarkeit durch äußere Einflüsse, wie zum Beispiel Witterung, Sanierung oder die versuchte Reinigung.
